Concentration has long appeared under names such as Memory, Pairs, and Pelmanism. With an ordinary pack, groups choose how strict a match must be. This browser card version uses an exact published option: same rank and same color, such as the queen of hearts with the queen of diamonds. Twenty-four cards form a 4-by-6 grid, and a CPU remembers revealed positions. The task uses direct observation and spatial recall without any need for unsupported health claims. Turn two cards, name their locations, and collect more of the twelve pairs than the CPU.
You reveal the five of hearts in row one and remember that row three contains the five of diamonds. Both are red and share rank five, so select the remembered card second. They remain open and score one pair. A five of clubs would fail because it is black.
You know a black king at position 8 but have never seen its mate. Turn position 17 first and find the king of spades, also black. Choose position 8 next to complete the pair. Had position 17 shown another identity, you would have gained information before choosing a second unknown.
The CPU turns a red ace at position 4 and a black queen at position 21, then misses. On your turn, you reveal the queen of clubs at position 11. That is black, so position 21 supplies its same-rank, same-color mate. The CPU's failed turn directly enables your score.
Play playing-card Concentration online free in a compact 4-by-6 grid. The browser handles shuffling, pair removal, turns, and scores while the CPU remembers exposed cards. Match rank and color exactly, and keep this ruleset separate from the site's themed Memory Match page. Start with coordinate labels, learn from CPU misses, and claim as many of the twelve pairs as possible.
Two cards must share rank and color. Hearts pair with diamonds, while spades pair with clubs, provided the ranks match.
No. The two suits of the same color form the pair, such as heart six with diamond six.
Concentration uses standard-card rank-and-color pairs and a CPU opponent. Memory Match is a separate game page with different assets and rules.
There are twelve pairs among twenty-four cards arranged in four rows and six columns.
Concentration rewards precise labels and attention to every reveal. Record rank, color, and position together, use known cards as anchors, and watch the CPU's misses. The same-color rule makes a heart and diamond pair while keeping black copies separate. Open the grid now, compare it with the distinct Memory Match game if you wish, and try to secure seven or more of the twelve pairs.
