Pair every tree with a tent in this clean grid logic puzzle. Tents may not touch, even diagonally.

Tents is a grid deduction puzzle in which trees provide fixed anchors and tents fill the surrounding campsite. The common rules ask for one tent beside every tree, no touching between tents, and row and column totals that match the printed clues. A tent shares an edge with its tree, never a corner. The board looks friendly, but every placement changes several row, column, tree, and diagonal constraints. Start with the small Tents board above and solve from its forced spaces.
A tree in the top-left corner has only two edge neighbors. If one neighbor is blocked by a row count, the other square must hold its tent.
Two trees each point toward the same open square. That square cannot serve both, so inspect the surrounding row and use the diagonal no-touch rule to separate the pair.
When five trees already have partners, the final tree may have two open neighbors. A completed row count can remove one, making the final tent immediate.

No. A tent must share an edge with its own tree. Diagonal squares do not count as a pairing.
No. Tents may not touch horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
Yes. Each tree pairs with exactly one tent, and every tent pairs with one tree.
Both reward local deduction, but Tents uses tree pairing, line counts, and a no-touching rule instead of mine counts.
Tents rewards careful reading and a steady chain of deductions. Start with the clearest clue, check its neighbors, and keep the goal visible. When you want a short logic break, play Tents online free in your browser and try the board above.
