You pilot a descent module toward a landing pad, managing fuel and velocity under constant gravity. You start at 500 feet with 100 units of fuel. Gravity accelerates you downward, so you fire a two-second burst at 400 feet to bleed speed. The velocity drops to a manageable range, and you coast toward the pad with fuel to spare.
The module drifts left of the pad. You tilt thrust right for one second, canceling the side momentum. The module realigns with the pad at 100 feet, and you focus the remaining fuel on the vertical brake.
You arrive at 50 feet with 5 units of fuel and a descent speed just under the limit. You fire a final burst to kill the last few feet per second, touch down at safe velocity, and bank the unused fuel as bonus score.
