Golf Solitaire is a fast-paced card game where the goal is to clear all cards from the tableau by playing them to a single waste pile. Cards can be played if they are one rank higher or lower than the current waste pile card, regardless of suit. The game gets its name from the scoring system used in some versions, where the goal is to achieve the lowest score (like golf). With 35 cards in the tableau and 17 in the stock, Golf Solitaire offers quick and engaging rounds that test your sequencing skills and ability to spot chains of playable cards.

1. 35 cards are dealt face up into seven columns of five cards each. Only the bottom card of each column is playable.
2. One card is dealt face up to start the waste pile. The remaining 16 cards form the stock.
3. Play tableau cards onto the waste pile if they are exactly one rank higher or lower than the top waste card, regardless of suit.
4. For example, if the waste shows a 7, you can play a 6 or an 8 from the tableau.
5. When no tableau cards can be played, draw a card from the stock to the waste pile and continue.
6. The goal is to clear all 35 tableau cards. The game ends when the stock is empty and no moves remain.

• Save stock draws for when you truly have no moves. Every stock card you keep is another chance to continue a streak.
• Watch for cards that connect separate playable sequences. These bridge cards are the most valuable.
• Accept that not every game is winnable. Focus on clearing as many cards as possible for a high score.

• Classic Golf: Standard rules without wrapping. Kings and Aces do not connect. A slightly harder version.
• Golf with Wrap: Kings connect to Aces and vice versa. This allows longer chains and increases win rates.
